How much will a service on my Macan Cost?
Prices vary dependant upon the scale of the service and work required. The service will always contain a minimum of Engine Oil and Engine Oil filter. But Air Filters, Pollen Filters, Brake fluid and Spark Plugs (where applicable) run on a varied schedule which is different, but coincides, with your annual service.
How long will a service on my car take?
A service can be anything from 1.5 hours through to 4 or 5 hours. We usually ask customers
to drop the car off with us in the morning and we will have the car ready for collection before
the end of the day. This allows enough time to properly service and inspect the car.
Do AW Motor Sport undertake other work on Porsches?
Absolutely. We are a Porsche specialist and one of the few independent Porsche specialist
who solely work on Porsche as opposed to other brands. We are well placed and well
versed to care for every type of Porsche from classic 911’s and 912’s all the way through to
the newer Macan, Cayenne and 911s.
Does a service include the MOT?
Unfortunately not. The service is a set schedule decided by Porsche to make sure the
vehicle is kept in the best possible mechanical condition. An MOT is a roadworthiness test
which is managed by the DVSA, this is to prove the vehicle is safe to operate on the road
and validation for insurance, etc.
Will it matter if I don’t service my car?
Carrying out a service is important to maintain the health of the vehicle. Many people choose
to undertake the service at home, themselves. This can often be fine.
Can I do a service myself instead of visiting a garage?
However we perform visual health checks on the vehicle as a whole when it visits us for a
service, this can provide peace of mind for our customers, but also can pre-empt any future issues, removing nasty surprises later.
